| Corrosion Resistance |
| Very very good corrosion resistance with regard to organic substances, oxidating solutions, foodstuff, sterilizing options. Excellent resistance with regard to atmospheric corrosion and dyes. They are subjected to pitting and crevice corrosion in presence of sizzling chloride answers and to stress corrosion when temperature exceeds 60°C. They do not resist to sulfuric acid options. AISI 302 displays somewhat best corrosion resistance with respect to AISI 304/304L stainless steels. |
